We had another "I'll never DS" guy DS this weekend and get hooked. Scotty, from Daves Beach. His awesome Moth piloting skills really paid off. I have never seen anyone pick it up so quickly. He was pulling off rolls and loops just after a few circuits.

Also, David/Radioglitch joined me and rocked his new moth even pulling figure 8's off the backside by the end of the day Sunday.

Thanks guys for joining me. It is such a great place to fly with others since we can DS right over the road (and not have to trek up and down the hill like most places), especially with the evening glass off.

Holy Crap Oran an OPUS, your going to go straight after the 300mph club rather than the 100mph club. Wow, can't wait to see and hear it roar!

We better start that support thread now

Too bad that hill seems to be way too far away for me to join in with you guys anymore. Poway was working for me but Bill's Hill is just a tad far at an hour long drive.

Oh well. Maybe I can catch you guys out at Poway once in a while.

Hey Gotsa, hook up with someone and car pool out. Would love to fly with you up there. Please don't think I have abandoned team Poway, That's were I learned and we got the DSing going again in San Diego. So much fun with everyone and where ADSJ started. We just have more spots in SD County to play, which are few and far between.

Speaking of locations... How about having the next ADSJ meeting at Blossom. That way Alex can join us too. We can play around on the backside, aka. Horny Toad Hill, and possibly get some of the locals to join us. I think I can at least make it out there on Sunday. I hope to have the blast repaired and ready for some more action by then.
Like surfing, I've found that visiting lots of different places with different characteristics has been fundamental to my improvement in skill levels. So let's mix it up again.
How about Hodges? Is it open yet? I saw your video from there Chris... and I've had some early DS experience there pre/post fire. I bet there's some nice grass up there now.

Your friend,

now back to the "coolness"

I think that it would be better to say "please keep it on topic, that is, to share and discuss your love for DSing, and to let the clash of personalities issue go."

Hey James, great video as always. Glad the Wizzard vid at the end came out. Those circuits were so tight and smooth, and I forgot you pulled a loop at the end, Sweet!

Glad to here the Blast is almost out of ICU. I am totally up for Blossom on Sunday. Love to have you locals give me the 411 on DSing there. The one time I was there I couldn't get my groove on, but I'm sure I was not in the right place.

Hodges is a nice place as well. I could only get my moldies to DS. I couldn't seem to penetrate with my foam, but I was still learning. I walked around the sign and flew both Saturday and Sunday, without any hassles. That was 3 months ago, so it might be open now. The rockiness was the only problem for landing, and my planes got pretty beat up.

Anyway, I'm all for getting together around the county.

Sweet shots of the Mach 1...aren't you glad no one wanted to buy it at the swap meet?

I especially like the shot with the water in the background!
