I'd start out the first post with a paragraph describing what a 450 is generally. Then for each link, give a brief description of that particular model. I think this would give newbies a great leg-up, and save time for people who are in the market for a 450.

Of course, you'd have to be diplomatic so as not to offend anybody, e.g., "a cheap entry-level POS knock-off, known for lots of fragile plastic, sloppy mechanics, and an RTF version that requires extensive upgrades in order to fly safely..." - might not be the best approach. But say, for the T-Rex, something like "the original helis that popularized the "450 class" of electrics. Still the standard, the T-Rex is known for generally good quality and crisp flight characteristics. Not cheap..." Just off the top of my head.

For that matter, for any of the model threads where the author is still around, some descriptive info in the opening post would be nice, followed by a similar list of links for that model (some threads have this).

Misfire, most of the owners threads have this. Less a few (b400 etc)I will certainly consider it. Thanks

if you don't know what a 450 sized heli is, you won't want specific info on all the different ones will you? that would come under the beginners guide to helis

Well, I have a B400 and don't know if it is a 450 or a 400 or what, so yes, specific info on all 450 size helis would be good. Or put it in the opening post of the thread. To people that know RC but not the heli end of it (like me) there should be one place for all class items, like 180 motors, 450 helis, etc.

Pico has a really good point. I have added a link to the top labeled Electric Heli Beginners guide. That will cover all the simpler questions. A blade 400 is a 450 class heli. The reason they use the term 400 is because of the considerable weight difference inbetween a trex and a b400. The rotor diameter is the same.
