Don's motor in an RC Car... W#)*U$TQ@#(&$@F
Well I don't know if this is a first, But its a first for me... Here is Don's Wicked outrunner 5400Kv in my RC18R road/drift car. I like the way the motor runs because this thing has torque from you know where
. In the famous words from Dale Sr. "Horsepower sells cars, Torque wins races" I run this geared pretty high and on a 3s Lipo this thing rockets down the road...

Hi Don, I've tried my wicked 4000kv in my electrifly with a 3S align battery (23A and 39500tr/min at full throttle with the hyperflow, 260W, 125km/h (78mph)).
Now, I want to go faster and I've put my 4S hyperion VZ 2000mah but I can't get the correct C.G with this battery (250g, it's 100g more than my 3S align). So how did you put a 4S battery into it ? Did you put your fan back? Do you use lighter batteries ? Thanks for help. |

The lipo was all the way back in the cockpit and I was still nose heavy on 4S from the recommended CG point. I just added a few clicks of up trim and went on my merry way
At high speed you will not notice it, only when landing as you need to hold more up.Don |

More of mine, this time with the armament attached. This was the first time I ever flew it with all the goodies hanging under the wing. Next time, I will launch with elevator on high rates. I about yanked the elevator stick right through the bottom of my DX7 trying to get her to climb on the launch!
![]() My buddy Terry snapped the photos for me. He is very good with MY camera!! He also has his own DSLR but we need to get a BIG lens for him too.

Here's my Stryker with a Don's RC outrunner. The motor weighs less than the stock motor, cost less than half as much, gives unlimited vertical, and comes down cool as a cucumber. Thanks Don!
