Question
How does one go about finding local hobby stores online?

As the title says...

I'd like to do a search so I can find at least ONE, LHS in my area.. (give or take 10 or 15 miles).

I've looked through google and yahoo.. but i'm probably just not looking in the right places, lol.

Can anyone help me out??

Thanks in advance!

Fun and safe flying

All the LHS's seem to stock Horizon Hobby products. Go to the Horizon Hobby website and put your zip code in the "store locator" box at the bottom of the main page.http://www.horizonhobby.com/

Thank you both for your help!!

I really appreciate it!

It's a pain when you realize you're out of certain props.. or you need a particular part ON THE SPOT.. and you dont have time to wait 2 or 3 or 4 days for the big brown truck to pull up in front of your house.

Especially when good flying days aren't exactly frequent, to say the least, lol.

So thanks again!!

And a reminder for those who don't know...

Even when your LHS isn't stocking exactly what you want, they get regular shipments. You can order from them, and not pay shipping.

My LHS carries all the Parkzon / Hobby Zone / Eflite stuff, but it's small, so their inventory is poor. BUT... they get anything I want within a week, at internet prices or BELOW, and no shipping charges. Plus, I can open the box right there, and inspect at the shop, and they handle any problems for me immediately.

It's to our advantage to help keep these guys in business, and times have been HARD for these stores. Especially the smaller ones.

It's cheaper to pay shipping than to drive to a LHS. AtlantaHobby is local, you get packages next day here..
Still, that's not the same as browsing thru all the goodies, now, is it!
