Metrodome MARCEE Fly-in pics
Heres some pics from our nite at the Metrodome. What a blast! Great people and some really great planes. Sorry for the poor quality, the Mini pen cam doesnt do well indoors.

I had fun as well. Once everything was up and running I was actually able to get in a flight or two. The next event is scheduled for February 24 from 8pm-12am.
I challenge everyone to get their favorite HHH picture posted on this thread ASAP. Let's show the World how we keep warm in Minnesota!
Also, the question came up about producing a T-Shirt for next time. It would be more of a humorous theme on the lines of the "No Noise" or "Step away from the Glow Starter" shirts you may have seen at other E-events. How may people would buy a shirt for $15 if we offered it?
BTW - Sammy asked that I thank everyone for the good time she had making everyone nervous as she ran around your planes.

Here is my email report to the group from last night....
What a night!
Thanks to everyone who showed up. I wanted to kick out a quick email to everyone before I forget everything.
The final count is....6 new or renewed members, over 100 Spectators, and over 60 flyers! Everything went well from an operations standpoint. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
I have AMA cards for the following people:
You can call me to arrange to pick them up in Roseville or I will bring them to the next meeting.
-Roger's IFO fleet
-The home made brushless motor on the little jet.
-The look on my wife's face when she took out Jim Ladwig's plane with her Lite Stick
The dome staff was very impressed with our behavior and professionalism. I will be sending them a thank you gift this week.
Please send any video or pictures you can to Greg Harvey. I'm sure he would like to get them up on the website ASAP.
I am looking for someone to run the next event on February 24 as I will be in Jamaica. I can provide all of the lists and equipment. You just need to be there an hour before the event and setup flight stations etc. Oh yeah, you also need to make sure you test the air to make sure it's OK to fly. I'd say a 1/2 hour flight with no one around is about the right amount to make sure it's OK. (Wink, Wink, Nod, Nod)
Thanks again everyone it was a good time!
Regards to all,

Just too risky with the Dome Lawyers watching.
When Slow flyer gear was expensive, we let Zagis go in the smaller Rice Street Dome because everyone had one. Now with the cheap GWS stuff out there, it puts indoor flyers within reach for the average Joe.
