SoCalSlopeRacing F3F Race 6-7 @ Vincent

Looks like a classic weather pattern, unlike the freak chaos last weekend, so we should be in for a great time. Vincent is a great race venue with fast times available, and a pretty darn good LZ. This is a Cal Cup race, and the leaderboard is pretty tight. Cost is $10, bring your AMA card.
I am assuming the way down the hill is still passable, so I will be going down with the Landrover. If you catch me at the top, and I have room, I can take stuff down for you- maybe you too! There will be a few guys that can haul down stuff, so post your intentions, I'll keep you informed of the arrival time, and we'll throw down a good time!! Warren

I saw some pictures of the hill today, and it looks like it 's in pretty good shape. DOn't think a dedicated 4x4 will have any trouble with it. MUCH better than Norco--IMHO!

SSSHHHHWWEEEEET!

Kyler and I are in! Really looking forward to this one. My plan is to race Vincent on Sat and then go do the race at Banos on Sunday. Any one else up for a two race week end? We will also be staying the night at Banos on Sunday to get another day of flying in on Monday.

FYI: Tim Cone has offered to do a launch clinic at Banos on Sunday with hopes of helping the 2008 VR Team. It really can take a second or two off your time having a good launch technique like Tim's especially when going over seas for the VR. The clinic is open to all who are interested and it's FREE! He said he would go over all the mechanics of a good launch. Really looking forward to that! Stay tuned for a start time on that.

Like WD said, on Saturday at Vincent times should be very fast! CalCup #5! Nice! Who’s coming boys?!

See you all soon.

Kyle

Dang it! I am in a wedding that day. Don't think I can talk them into getting married on Vincent. Someday I'll race again.

Wheres Bill, Rey, and Dave? There is only a little over a 100 pts. difference between 5th and 10th place in the overall standings. Missing a race will have a big change in there position. So where are you guys? You don't want me passing you up, on the overall points do ya? Come on guys lets race.

Bob, wondering where my mid pack competition is.
