Hello Chaps.
Looks like the brakes are better, but next is the car MOT.
Its like going to the dentist.

So, for the time being its the Kellet build, and I like building.
Its a lot less painfull than being under the car

Peter I am glad you did not break any today.
I would like to have mine finished ready to fly.

As you see I have one, and the Kellet is looking a bit more complete.

Not sure with the car problems, but whether I finish it or not I will be there.
I will also bring some beer and we can drink into the early hours..

I think making the 3 rotor blades will be the hurdle.
Actually I have a lot to do, must pull my finger out.

I have not put any carbon rods in the horizontal stab.
Do you think this is a must, as I will need to get to the shops.
Unless you have another idea.

Do'nt worry about the blades , you can borrow a set of mine if you get it finished in time...we can test fly it at Charlton Park
As for the CF rods ..I added them because my Dag horizontal stab kept snapping in half!...roll overs!! On my Kellet I added a hardwood leading edge just to give it abit of extra strength..but to be honest nothing will really protect it from a tailstrike ...make a spare!!

I like the idea of a hard wood leading edge and I have some 1/4 wood.
It will help and save a trip to the shops.
thanks Rich

I will bring my Kellet and we can just set yours up the same as mine.........fly mine and then just transfer the blades over...I do'nt mind trimming it for you ..what do you say?....It will fly no problems at all, once trimmed you can set the throttle to maintain its altidude and put the transmitter on the floor and it will quite happily do left hand circuits all day ..I will have to do a video of what I mean ..its quite funny to watch ..I will just wait till the club safety officers has gone home..LOL!!

Sorry for the delay to your offer Rich.
I am using a company PC this evening.

My PC has been hit by a worm and has caused the blue screen of death.
I did get a warning of a damaging program from my anti virus software just before it crashed.
It will have to wait until the Kellet is finished.

So yes please mate, and thanks Rich, what can I say.

Are you camping over the Saturday night?
I have not booked a pitch yet.

I attached 1/32 ply to the horizontal stab to help give it strenth, and two wood pins to locate and fix to the body.

Now the undercarrage wood blocks, and servo rods..
