Thanks Rich for the email with the dimensions.
Not sure if to continue with steel rod and balsa, or use hard wood and balsa.

Either will be fine Andy,
If you need some of the hardwood I have a pile of it, just let me know.
Regards Rich

Thanks Rick for the offer.

I am trying to make progress but the evening time is too short.

Here are some more pictures.

I am using flexible plastic sheet for the stab winglet. This should stop them breaking.
I will add some cocktail sticks through the tri stock balsa and plastic winglet to stop them coming out. PVA glue not so good with pastic.

Andy,
I like the winglet idea...I am forever breaking mine off..my only concern is whether they are too flexible and might alter your trim settings through the different speed that the Gyro will fly ?
A bit of advice Andy.......make a spare tailplane

You need to contrate on pushing the head forwardsa you land. A large round Carbon fiber plate under your rotor plater would work well.

I do not mind anyone hogging my thread. It's here for all to enjoy.

Sorry Rich, I had a chuckle when you said you hit a hedge.
It wasn't a hedge hogg was it whilst doing a low pass?

I remember hitting a large hedge when flying on a very very windy day, and boy did that craft hit the hedge. It bent the green mass over...lol
