Thanks Rich

I have cut most of the wood parts.

I am cutting the head parts now, whilst the glue dries

What bolt do I need for the tilting head, I think it will need to be sleeved?

Andy,
I machined a nylon sleeve up and used a 6mm shoulder pin with a nylock nut to secure, you could use a piece of nylon air pipe sliced off with a standard 5 or 6mm bolt. If you are stuck I could send you the bits

Wow Andy!!!!! I am so excited two of my Profile Kelletts will be flying around the UK!!!! It looks awesome!!!!

I am not sure what Rich used. So many ways to go. I like pressing and gluing in brass tubing and just stick a bolt or a pin of what ever gives you a nice "slip fit" as they say. You gust do not want it too sloppy.

Andy,
I have just had another look at your photo and have a concern, if my memory serves me correctly the mast 1/4" balsa should come lower into the fuselage, its hard to see but it looks like yours is just butted up the the Fuz?
If left like this it is sure to fail, have you got plans on beefing this area up???

I have a plan...sorry for the pun

I am using lite ply on the front section only, not the 1/16 balsa, and this will also support the mast.

I like the idea of them flying together Rich, but I am not as good as you.
I would like some help on flying her when finished, would be a shame to break it before they are together in that video.

Sorry my dear, I can't do the painting as I need the full cans of paint to hold the wood down whilst it dries. the decorating must wait....
