Wiggy is in Adelaide, I'm so excited.
Wiiggy is in town and going on a photo shoot at 1PM, Victoria Park. Wiggy is a (brushed!!##%%) trainer in a box, has been flown by RC pilots all over America and is now here to be flown by 'Son of Paleface' from RC Groups, be there for a moment in RC history.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ighlight=Wiggy 'The north-westeren end of Pitt Straight would be more accessible for parking and unloading (closer to Wakefield St) , but if there is any turbulence from the trees , it will be better to move down the track till we are clear (life wasn't meant to be easy). There are no parking restriction on Wakefield St or East Tce on weekends |

Amazing thing happened yesterday, my dad showed up with a piece of junk he got from Revolution shop. Cost him 50something $ delivered, its a kind of E-Hawk knockoff, styrofoam wing and tailgroup, nylon fus, motor, speed control, battery, charger, servos supplied and fitted (badly). about 45min work assembling, rectifying and modifying and it was ready. Down to the Grange hockey field to try it out, and turned out to fly really well to my surprise! I wonder how long it will last.
Cheers simon |

I Maidened the E-Flite Taylorcraft and E-Flite Beaver this morning. The taylor craft is a lovely aircraft to fly and looks good in the air. Bounces around a bit with turbulance. Lands good with a bit of power. The Beaver.....what can I say. Bloody monster.
Flap and full power results in about a 3ft takeoff roll followed with a near vertical unlimited climb out..... Flaps slow her down well for landing and lands easily with a bit of power Im going to dial in a bit of down elevator with flap to stop the balooning. Wind got a bit much so here I am at home.

Hey nice pics. Iz ze german a foamie? I went out this morning and my t-28 was all over the place. Coming into the wind it would just almost sit there. Me needs more power! That Beaver is also very nice. If it wasn't for the wind today would have been perfect. Whats the forecast for tommorrow?

I've heard good things about the alfa's. Whats your opinion? Is yours stock? I would love a ballistic ww2 foamie. Any recommendations?

The Alfas are Fantastic foamies. The FW190 is probably the best one. Mustang is seriously fast with the red MPjet brushless in it. I would love to get the Beaufighter.

I've found an alfa clearout with some going for $130 new. Is that a good pick-up? I have no experience with alfa models but have nothing but good things. |
