i do not charge at field so 12 flights is a good day for the t28. then i switch to the beast for another 12 flights. my window for flying is about 24 flights give or take. works for me. i charge at 1c too. head to the field with all the batts charged and ready.

Even the cheap batteries are good to charge at more that one C. Look at the label it will tell you charging rates. 2200mAH battery at even 2C = charging rate of 4A. Mine are 4C. 2200 x 4 = 8.8A. Crank those chargers up! We're burnin daylight. LOL

i hear ya. as Blinkguy says many folks fly on the weekend so they may want more. i am lucky to get to fly on weekdays. i got 3 batts for this baby. 3 for my spit. thats more than enough for me. after 6 flights my focus starts to wane.

Just wondering how if at all you guys are beefing up landing gear on the T-28. Don't have the nose wheel proublem that people have spoke of but have had wing wheels pull out on rough landings.. Thanx

i added ca around the plastic plate to foam union then put white duct tape neatly over the entire plate about 2 incheswider all around to add more strenght and spead out the load on bumpy landings. so far so good.you cant even see the tape. i did this before flight number 1.

Well buddy..... That happend to me before and my quick fix fas to put some strong packing take on the sides of the white plastic mount and after that lots of high grass landings it just holds and i think will never come pop out again man.

Nice flying in Maryland...

Over Thanksgiving. One one hot dog flight though, I clipped my nose wheel on a low pass. It caught, and the Trojan tried to burrow into the asphalt. Ripped the nose right off.

Clean break though. One hour and some GG later, she was up flying good as new...

Yeah, good flying. The temptation to hot dog between those palm tree trunks must be enormous! Had some good windy day flying yesterday, love those harrier style landings.
