i flew the big t28 today with the stock prop for the first time since purchase of the plane. all flights have been on the 3 blade corsair prop until today. i really didnt notice a big difference in speed. i did however notice that she didnt jump into the air as fast as she does with the 3 blade. i guess the extra torque really gets her going faster on throttle up. maybe a bit more quiet but close. i still like the 3 blade looks way better and may go back again. the extra ground clearance is also nice on the 3 blade prop. either way a great day flying. 6 flights in calm air. lovely.
 ended the evening with 7 flights with my micro beast. lovely little biplane on low rates. mellow and relaxing against a orange sky and setting sun.

agreed! just ordered 4 more 2200 mah batts so my total for this plane is 12 now as well. 12 for my little beast too. a dozen batts per plane is a nice number i think.
great day indeed, plus today is my 42nd birthday!

Airforce gets fixed for the 2nd time - Light Repairs!
Due to some very strange issues with my radio gear (Spektrum AR500) my Airforce T-28 Trojan has crashed twice as a direct result from radio not responding. I have thrown it away and gone back to Castle Creations BERG 4-Channel Super Narrow band DSP 72Mhz.

Well buddy... Maybe for you... I only have sundays to fly.... No way ill fly any other day... So a week waiting for only two flys??? Nahhhhh..... Not enough for me brother

I fly all day almost non-stop with two batteries. Just need a charger that charges at 10A. Charges in less than 10 minutes.

I dont have a car to charge it
Besides... I do not have batteries that would charge at 10c without getting the magic smoke

I've got some gens ace supposedly good for 5c , tho I've always stuck to 1c thinking to max out the lifespan. rdcskkrose and all you guys, will the battery still last awhile at that higher charge rate? My charger only does 5A, so I guess I could try 2c and rack up some more flight time...

if your battery specs says it can take up to 2C youll be fine.. i always charge it at 1C less than the maximun. that way ill be on the safe side.. and turnigys actually accept even 5C the turnigy... the zippys 4C
