Can't wait to go to the LHS to get a new prop and cowling. I got too cocky on an inverted pass, lost orientation, and slammed her in when I gave the wrong elevator direction. $10 well worther learning to fly 2 mistakes high. I'm still a bit of a newb, been flying since february. Ill just agree to disagree that we were talking about our new-fangled smartphones

"inverted pass" niiiice, well, that's pretty cool ya tried it anyways, I guess I am not as fearless as some of you young-uns

I heard it said once that "when inverted, down is up, and up is expensive"

Here are two of them. I'm trying to get the other one uploaded. Will post it later. It was from yesterday and brighter. The camera don't like the dusk very much. It's a HD Cube camera from Hobbypartz. Got it for $20 around Christmas.

Yeah it does better with good lighting since the aperture is so small, but not to bad for my first time and having it mounted outside the cockpit just in front of it.

Here is the link to it. They have sales all the time on them. I got a special code off FB is how I got it for $20. http://www.hobbypartz.com/86p-988-dice-minicam.html

Nice. They are great, but its hard finding stuff in stock at times. The GensAce are great batteries, but they are always out of stock. Glad they got a notify option now though.

Yeah I only use them more smaller batteries because they are usually in stock. Plus the nanotechs in the HK U.S. warehouse are cheaper. 3S 2200's for $10 each.

Thanks. That's a neat looking camera. Might be a challenge to mount though.

The other video is about ready. I will post it in a few minutes.

Here is the other video. It was taken yesterday evening after I got off work. It's mounted on the front at a slight left angle. Think thats part of the reason it caught so much of the prop wash in the video. Going to try and figure out a mount inside the canopy to maybe stop the bouncing as much.

T28 with cube camera (7 min 14 sec)

That sound is awful lol, but good flying. I had an idea a while back to buy some of those "buckyball" magnets, its about $30 for 120 of the things. Little round rare earth magnets. If you could find a way to put the canopy on with those every few inches or so, there would be no way for it to come off in flight.

Yeah most of that sound is the rubber bands that is holding the camera down. lol I had it Velcro'ed but didn't take any chances.
