Walkera HM 38# (Chinook tandem)
Hey I just took a peak at the Walkera site and saw a new tandem!!! Look here
Anyone have any more information about it? Like the price, RTF or ARF, anything else? I will probably be buying this over the Twister SkyLift because it looks MUCH more sturdy with aluminum parts and all.

hi grizzjr1!
VERY nice find! looks cool. it is bigger as the twister: rotor dia is 450mm, 370sh motors... looks like two HM53 put together. 768 gramms.... every crash will be expensive then (heli AND furniture ) but i like it!hope it will be available soon. regards klaus |

I would rather it was made by ESKY than Walkera.I had nothing but trouble with walkera.

Yeah, an E-Sky version would be better quality but this looks pretty cool (and I'm a sucker for Chinooks). I couldn't find any places to purchase from though, and if it's in the Walkera store, it's going to be seriously overpriced...

Yeah, I also wish it was E-Sky rather than Walkera. If the price is too high for my budget (300+), then I will probably go for the Twister. Anyone know where to find a Twister SkyLift for around as much as on HL, only not on HL (too much of a wait!
) Thanks!Grizz |

it seems that it is not very stable and not release yet. do your guy know silverlit has a similar product: http://www.rc-fever.com/silverlit-ta...per-c-234.html i bought one and found that it is super fun~ but a little difficult in control compare to the old picco Z |

Got an e-mail from RC-Spare Parts, and they said the HM-38 Tandem will be available the end of June. Still don't have a price. AirFox |

China Jade has it for $223.00 shipped. It's a promo price... He's a very standup guy... active in the 4#3 threads.
