Nice planes, who makes that little ME-163?, does it fly comparable to the Pico Jet?, I'd like to get a little tractor delta to add to my collection.

I got it at a local hobby store here in Denmark.

It´s manufactured by ACT. From Germany.
Small white box with a small picture of a red ME-163 on it. It´s a 3 piece kit, made of styrofoam : Wing ,FWD body, and Aft/lower body. Verry simple to build.

I wouldn´t have a clue where to order one.

And as for flight. I just finished building it. Havn´t been to the field yet.

I believe that Dymond AND EAM stock the ACT Me-163. (I know that EAM does, I just touched one there this week)

The ACT is a neat looking little model. The problem is that while the model is very cheap in Europe, it is significantly more over here.

It is easily found in English shops for about 12 pounds or so (under 18 bucks right now) Over here the price is nearer 60 bucks, darn it.

Way cool! Nice planes! My old lady wanted to shoot me when I told her I wanted to get a computer radio so I could buy a 3rd plane. Oh well.

Ohh...its a glow plane its nothing. :-)

It´s a nice kit from Graupner. Foam core wings, and abs plastic fuselage. Designed for .25-.30 glow power. It weighs a ton. It will never fly on E-power.

Are those Danish Air Force markings on the Twinstar ?

excellent paint jobs what did you use on your twin jet? I am busy building one and was worried about the extra weight, if there is any. By the way can you help me with a servo question for the twin jet set-up?

The paint is called MOTIP. It´s from a local automobile acessory store. You can paint this thing with anything. The silver only needed one pass, as it covered the EPP verry easy. So it ways allmost nothing. The nacells and canopy are just painted with black HUMBROL model paint The same with the nose and elevons. Just gray.

As for my servos. I stuck my MS X2 servos in the wells with double sided tape. And wedged some styrofoam in between the remaining gaps, so the the servo has no where to move. Then just a piece of packing tape that covers the whole servo well. Nice and tight fit. The bottom part on the white servo horn for the elevon, was too long/deep. I had to cut a piece off to make it fit in the moulded hole. Then I ruoghened the bottom side of the horn up, so that the CA glue realy has somthing to bond to :-)

P.S. The Foxbat from ACT ist also a fine modell. I try to use a Permax 280BB in the ME163.

Could you help me with a Twinjet server issue I am stuck with?

I have put the servers in the wings but the book says to cut the plugs off and solder them together with a server extension ref number 8xxxxx. Can I not just buy server extensions for both servers and plug them into the receiver?

What do you suggest?
