Oh ok... you twisted my arm..

I was going to get the rex built prior as its not just crying in there it almost bit my arm off last night when I opened the box to get out he instructions.

Sun is better for me, preferably after 7pm when the terrors are in bed and dont want to come...

Can see your point Trex or 4#3b is an easy decision. We may be able to sneak in at no charge after my fiancee packs up her equipment and there is no close booking afterwards however this would be a Sat arvo 1:30ish or a weekday evenin.

Jason preferred or suitable time?

I can make it almost any day depending on where Iam working.
Most days I finish work at around 4pm.
Saturday and sundays are easy for me too if I don't get called into work for breakdowns.

I had a ep100pro before I learned to hover

had fun setting her up, but my limited flying skills made it a very, umm.. explosive heli!

so I sold it before I could destroy it

just bought a new one stretched her out with ff 200 frame

now she is a blast

planning to invert her soon

I originally set mine up to fly like a fp with zero pitch zero throttle (stick all the way down) but recently changed to zero pitch to mid stick with headspeed increasing to approx 60% when pitch changes at 2/3 throttle. I am trying to get the feel (damn touchy on throttle) so I can start running neg pitch as well. Can nose in and circuits (messy) but put training gear back on at the moment for preservation reasons as it is easy to put down hard- Hence the queries on LG.

well the gaui cf l/g are just as fragile as the stock so those arent a solution

some say the ele firefox l/g are a little more durable but not by that much

havent seen a good l/g for gaui yet

maybe mario at microflight will have some that fit

though his "tuff" l/g is very easy to make

personally-I am making some alu l/g that just bolt together-sure they will bend-but much better than breaking

lol-some peple just take off l/g and use large foam pad! so dorky--but sooooft

Interesting as I put it in the post yesterday and thought that Aus post didnt pickup on weekends. That dispells that theory..

I just know its frustrating to wait for parts to arrive so try and get them out either in the afternoon or evening that they are ordered.

So when are we all getting together for a fly? Amp what time during the week could we get in there?

MK we will send you some photos of the carnage, I mean flying...

Cheers

I was lucky today,
I received parts from Terence too,They must have been held up in the post this time because the package had a stamp from 12 days ago when he sent them.
So I made a second flying 4#3B.
I know it turns out cheaper to just buy one,but it is more fun this way.
Any day is good for me to fly.Iam on call 24/7 but I should be ok to do it.
MK, It would be good to have a big 4#3B fly in.Just do it.
You could then test the 4#3B on the plane on the way over.
Hehe The 4#3B could fly a mile high.
Maybe I can learn some flying tips.
Regards Jason

[QUOTE=Brettw]

So when are we all getting together for a fly? Amp what time during the week could we get in there?

Made some enquiries yesterday and seems Fri nights are avail with Gym/Hall completely empty. Some nights stuff such as rings/parrellel bars (also known as obstacles) are left set up. Apparently there may be a bond but may be able to get waived. I will contact hirer and let you know. I am unavailable (moving) this weekend and the following will try to sort for the 11th. We may also be able to get in some week nights. Will confirm

Haha-you'd already be flying on the plane....before you launched the 4#3B.

Have that arguement with a hostess. I am sure it would be entertaining!
