Well I've been playing with the Genius and am REALLY liking this little beauty. Got all of my binding in 2801 mode sorted out. The Genius has a unique way of binding but once you know what to do in what sequence it binds very quickly.

Good news. I just copied my Genius settings from the 2801 PRO to my original 2801, not even the E and it works perfectly so it looks as though the 2801 compatible Genius is truly compatible with all of the 2801 TX's.

I really don't think tx output power is much of an issue with the sub-micros.....outa sight long before outa range.

Yeah, I just finished flying 2 packs outside in the shadows and it's not easy to see, so small and dark in color...time for some lights! I'll start making a set for the Genius tonight.

this is a brief overview of the "compound"
I glossed over it A LOT. I could fill pages with pix of things that are odd/interesting or needing repair.

and I tried to get photos of the funny roof line for you, John. there's a "tree" obscuring the shot. The tree is slated for removal.
We have a patch of real, walk bare foot, grass in the yard!!!! I bet I never manage to crash over it

you can see the swamp box on top of the fireplace in the photo of the main house.

It was great just to catch up as I hadn't seen them for over 20 years.
It would have been great to catch up with you. I may not be working over your way any more,but I will be there at times on some weekends.
The new job is very much "Different" to what Iam used to. I have been a prisoner stuck in the workshop there all week and I feel like a caged animal waiting to escape. Iam hoping to be based at an Australia Post site next week and then the fun begins.
I was amazed to receive a nice letter from my old boss saying thank you for doing what I had done and how I conducted myself. He also wished me well,So I guess that is a good thing.

The new job sounds OK, once you get through the training phase and gain their confidence. At least you don't have to hide or fear the phone on weekends.

So, did these school mates age as gracefully as we did? My wife says I've gotten better looking as I matured....Gawd, I musta been one ugly bugger, if this is better.

the house
I tried to photo that, what is almost presentable. There are 3 chicken coops and 2 or 3 "sheds" in varying states of disrepair...It's getting better....and if we get company, we have 5 bedrooms...in 4 buildings.
We still have tons of junk to sort through. It would be much easier if we KNEW for sure it was all junk....anyone need a bathroom sink? We have 4 that are sitting in our "yard"!

My sister and I were discussing wrinkles....she was noting that large people don't get them as bad...
my comment to that...
thin people's wrinkles run vertical, large folks' run horizontally.
