Id rate it a definate 9. easy to build ( hate building, prefer covering and flying), takes a beating, does combat, no fear of flying it, very manouverable, fast enough for a electric/small plane, thermals well, makes electrics easy and fun, makes small fields easy access for fun. easy to transport too. best 100$ i spent on a plane.

only vice is tape looks bad, and charging of batteries takes forever, esp Nimhs...

and i fly IC planes and helis..

How do you like your zagi?

On a scale of one to ten how would you rate you zagi? I am going to get one and I want to know how you like yours.

Thanks!
Alex

Out of the last 48 launches I have had 47 good flights.

I'd give it a 9.79166

Correction:

Of 52 launches I have had 51 good flights.

I'd now give it a 9.80769231

...shoot, id have to give it a 10. no other bird has given me the enjoyment that this one has. IC or electric, its at the top of my list. as a matter of fact, my packs are all charged (800AR's, yep hopped her up a while back to a 450T and dig it!) and im out the door right now to go and toss her into the warm californian evening sky. :

A well bought politician once said "You can fool all the people some of the time, or some of the people all of the time (which is usually for long enough to get into office).

Our version would be "(which is long enough to get them to buy a lump of packing foam with flappy elevons)".

I don't like anyone else's, so didn't bother buying one myself. It does have a certain appeal if one can't be bothered to learn to land

However, it does have the capability to extract prop noise from a motor with a trivial amount of power

Regards

Dereck

I have to give my 400X a 10 to the 10th power.
If you put alot of throw into it and set your CG back, this thing will snap on full up elevator after you have picked up some speed. This is a great way to kill Razors in combat.

I really like mine with the 7.2V Graup motor and 7 or 8 * 600 AE cells. Guess I fly it on the wing vs brute power. They are a Great Plane (oops, wrong company ). I did monokote the Ailerons / Elevons on mine...

Dave

PS: Answer quick, or look in the foamie section.

Since the Zagi was my first plane I have nothing to compare it to. Having crashed, bang, smash-em-up, put-em-back-together-again (read only stripped servos). I give my Zagi a 10 and my E-Boomerang a 10. Not too bad considering I could've turned balsa into pulp trying to learn.

My first plane as well as the other guy.
I built a Ducted Fan F-16 but wanted to master the Zagi 400X first. It is awsome!
15 CRASHES out of 15 launches, then success!
Going on 10 in a row and it gets better every time. I fly at an old Air force base and their is hardly no one ever there. The more eyes watching me the harder the crashes. A solid 10 in my book for many reasons.

Great fun. I don't like to call it indestructable, but rather less-destructable.
9/10
