Great effort. Although since it is moving target, one has to wonder if a Wiki would work better?

I dont really like wikis, partly because I dont care for the format and partly bcause i already have enough web pages to keep up with. I can work in Word whenever I have a spare minute and dont have to worry about being online on uploading it later. With this I am doing something I would have been already. Not to mention I really didnt spend much time on this at all. Work keeps me in good practice doing stuff like this.

And thank you for all of the compliments

Also I found that XDP did not like my older computer with the 1.1 old style USB ports. My laptop with 2.0 USB worked fine.

1.1 USB ports do work. I ran the XDP under Windows 95 with an older laptop.

It could be the power output of the USB port and not the version. Have an older Dell that only has one USB port on it. Plugged in a hub and my mouse and ipod trying to charge and it didnt have enough power to run both.

Has anybody figured out if Chris' guide is affected by the recent XDP firmware upgrade? I'm thinking the new hopping modes ... ? I got all my stuff upgraded to v3.x but have not lit off the latest XDP software yet.

Right now, the XDP software does not support the new hopping modes. The XDP.exe, RxDiag.exe, and Analyzer.exe programs work without any changes. However, the XDP.exe will show you a corrupted EEPROM message when viewing the Tx settings as the hopping mode is there and not recognized as valid.

The TxDiag, exe and Scanner.exe only work in Hopping mode 1 currently.

Looks like new software is available. It seems that Scanner.exe and XDP.exe now work, TX Diag to come.

I assume you just downloaded. I did the download in Nov just after the update. Is this a new version?

Hello,
I guess it might be interesting to update the "unofficial" guide to the last evolution of the software as it is very helpful and a very good complement to the original user's manual. In fact, the user's manual (or let's call it sheet) does not give as much information with the Xdp as does this user's guide. What's more, it appreciated it and learned a lot in the beginning as I had bought a faulty device that had been exchanged by my dealer without any problems. However, before contacting my dealer, I had to be sure that the device had a problem and that there was no configuration problem caused by myself.
Just an idea.
Best regards.
