FlyFly Mig29 Twin 92mm EDF

Hi,
Sharing the my latest collection from FlyFly after the Mirage and Raptor F22.

Not decided on the power setup yet but most like will go with the stock fan and the 1600kv motor on 5S.

Some additional mod will be:
- Adding Rudder
- cover with silk
- Use flyfly air retract

Will be a slow build so stay tune

This is the listed spec from the manual:
Wingspan: 1145mm
Lenght: 1500mm
Flying weight: 2.7KG with air retract
EDF: twin 92mm

They blew it on the canopy though. Not scale. But the rest of it is good. I'm waiting for obert to ship mine! Should be cool with this size. HMMMMM I wonder if you can fit twin 8s packs in there with the midi fan's and the new v2 medusa 1300-1600kv motors. It should scoot on that!!

LOL! I love this new breed of big EDF's. Low cost to buy the airframe and lots and lots of $$ for the internal bling. Reminds me of those teenage boys who put $2000 wheels and tires on a $500 car!

(Now before you get PO'd at me you should know it's on my list of planes to buy this summer along with the big Gripen)

Hi, I have done a quick check, you should be able to do 8S if needed pending CG. Potentially can remove some foam to shift the Battery backward! nice

The space for bettery i measure as :
height: 60cm
width: 50cm

So this is capable for 2 packs of TP3850.

Good luck

That canopy looks 10x better.

I would so love to get one of these but that would mean I would need to sell off one of my kids.

Or maybe I could use the relief check that Uncle Sam is handing out. Hmmm

Robert, I can't find this one on your website. Just courious as to how much this baby's gonna cost. It maybe out of my reach...

Actually, the stock canopy isn't too far off from scale.

It's a lot farther off than that picture.

I'd say you need something in-between the two.

Not Robert

I am Not Robert, but I can answer part of that question. YES it does come painted like that. The one on the pictures with the Canopy mod is mine (mine I'll tell you, mine). Looks real nice with the Sapac Canopy on it. It will be built just like DT8666, rudders and covered and painted.
