On the output for videos in Vegas there is the screen after the Make movie button is pushed where the format can be selected. I selected HD and then 720 and then the dimensions and she looks as good as the original video in a side by side.

Not sure if thats what you are trying to figure out though.....

That stinks, any idea what the problem is? I had a problem like this when I had the CG too far back.

I had a strange phenomenon that occured last night.

I turned off stabilizer, and zero'ed the trims. When I turned stabilizer on,

The trims were way out. I zero'ed stabilizer, and got the same result.

So I trimmed to level ailerons.

I don't know what to think about that. It seems to be level, so I can't

attribute the crash to that.

Today's episode had to be related to high stabilizaton gains

on a more efficient wing surface, or

Stall: Maybe 3/4 throttle wasn't enough to get this wing enough lift.

I really don't know, but it sucked. I threw it up, and it rolled over and went in.

it's fixable

concerning the strange phenomenon with the ailerons.

I figured out how to fix it.

I should re-train the osd by running the servo analysis wizzard.

I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.

I'm still debating on whether to keep the 168 wing or go back to the foamy.

if I keep the 168, then i'll have to give it an extremely hard launch, and full throttle...

Mike, I can cut some of those extension pieces out of EPP or other foam to rebuild the front end, but the rounded nose would have to be done by hand somehow. I may even have a piece already cut if you dont mind black EPP.

Mike here is a picture of the extension piece I put in my 1st skywalker. Third pic over on the top shows it best.

I'm going to try and maiden my wing tomorrow afternoon or for sure Saturday.

Thank you for the offer Nate,

I'll see if I can repair it. I'll let you know, but hopefully I'll be putting all of my equipment in one of your wings very shortly.

I've seen your other wing fly, and it performs very well, If you're confident in this new geometry, then I'll be happy to test it for you.

Let me know when you can have one ready for me, and I'll be happy to get started on it.

If you want to come down for the maiden, we can go up to the house and get one cut right after.

Here it is guys. The newest installment of Todd's FPV Nuttiness.

Birds Eye Video of Mountain Goats in a Winter Wonderland

EPIC FPV ! Mountain Goats in Winter Wonderland - GoPro Hero2 and DragonLink FPV (3 min 40 sec)

McGregor, Ken and I spent the weekend in Moab shooting whatever looked interesting. We got the boot at Arches, so we went outside of the National Parks to see what we could find... and were surprised at how spectacular it was. Video in the works.
