A bad flying plane is like a crash that never ends. With a crash, at least you know when it's over.

Good to hear the SW made it back, Ryan. It's also good to be back on the UFO thread. (Leap of absence to take a big, hairy test for school.)

Anyway, in FPV-related news, I've sold my unbuilt SW to buy one of Lee's Hercules. Lee is highly recommending putting two 3530 1700kV motors on the leading edges of both wings, but deep down inside, I still think that just maybe I could get away with mounting one 1100kV motor with a 10x6 or 11x6 in prop (same setup I had on my mpx easy glider pro...great motor)

Motor link: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=3886

I'm not worried about doing high-speed canyon dives or anything at the moment. Besides possible issues with prop-ground clearance, does anyone think this idea may be leading to a dead end? Should I stick with a dual prop setup?

Here's yesterdays' flight.

I've got RTH working half of the time.

I think I figured it out though. That is absolutely essential to me that it works flawlessly...

The new stabilizer is a beautiful thing though...

Looked smooth on everything except the approach. I really need to get my stabilizer working.

It doesn't really look like it, but the wind kicked up right as I was landing.

I was stearing it in to a precise location, but the Guardian did most of the

work.

I just made a couple of more changes, so hopefully I'll have the RTH dialed in.

Ryan are you talking about the IMU? If so just come up and we can do it in about 30 minutes. I have two of them now and have run through the procedure several times.
