Nope, I ain't dead... yet...
I was beginning to worry. Figured between the move and work you were too busy to pop in here.

Now you've shamed me, guess I gotta drag out the winch Sunday.

Gawd, I LOVE coming home to Mobile after a week away! We have some of the prettiest girls in the South! I've got a couple of Portrait galleries on my website to prove it.

Thanks Al. Yeah, shooting the ladies is something a little new to me. It's not my normal subject matter, but I've enjoyed it and hope to get more opportunities.

Nicely done TJ. The thing you have to pay attention to in B&W portraiture is lighting. It's really, really important in B&W. If you don't get that right everything looks really flat. Sepia makes that more obvious. I'll see if I can dig up some of my old 35mm and 4x5 B&W prints if you're interested.

Yeah, that'd be nice to see. It's a learning process for sure and I didn't have as much lighting control as I'd have preferred. The shoot with Falicia was supposed to have been done in studio, but as it was, we did it outdoors. All in all, I think they turned out well. There's one head shot that is my favorite so far.

I had always heard that you can't live with 'em and you can't shoot 'em... I guess TJ is dispelling that...
