Hah hah hah! Yeah, I'll add it to my list.

Hey, guess who won 1st in 2m woodie fledgling today? You better believe it, it's me! Yee haw! I filed a notch in my towhook last weekend, and that did the trick. I haven't had a single pop-off since then.

This time I actually had people to compete against. One missed the first round, though, and the other was having some really bad pop-off problems. I was able to help the Fling quit popping at least, and had him file a slight notch in his towhook.

Funny how photography can do that. I know that pics of me make my hair look thinner and my waste bigger. Must be true that photos add 20 pounds.......and subtracts 40% hair.

I suspect it's because when the eye sees a round-edged 3-D shape, it assigns greater "weight" to the material in the middle, and less to the edges. However, a 2-D shape gets equal visual weighting for the entire surface, from edge to edge.

When I was designing the Roadkill Series profile models, I had to compensate for this. When I first drew the Roadkill Series Electra, exactly per the three-view dimensions, it looked more like the considerably chubbier Beech 18. I had to slim the fuselage down by about 5% thinner than scale to make the profile model actually look like the much sleeker Electra.

Well, it's nearly the beginning of March, so with the typical winds (tomorrow is supposed to be west at 21), almost every day is a bad hair day, with or without a hat.

You hit on the answer Don, cause I absolutely know that I still have my schoolboy figure and the hair is as thick and luxurious as a 20 year old. My wife assures me of that daily. Funny thing is that as she gets older she tends to walk around snickering to herself after giving me my self-esteem pep talks. Must be senility on her part.

Captain C: I could really get into some 140" Riser action.

Hi DW

Just saw the birds change place's, one has a little lighter grey color around the edges of the back feathers wondering if that bird is Mon or Dad.

They have a cool person on the camera now that shows more of the country side and zooms in and out too, a lot better to watch now !!

How is the fix it job coming along, your fuse looks very nice.
