Go ahead, use the CA.... if you get some where it shouldn't be, you can always get it off with acetone!

I hope I can be forgiven if I believe in "cotton sun screen." (Otherwise known as clothes! )

Well at our annual club meeting yesterday, I bought an "oldie but goodie", a used Legionaire 140.
It used to belong to my one time neighbor and flying buddy, the late Bob Steele
of Ft Wayne Indiana.
Everyone says "recover it", no it will fly just as it did the last time Bob flew it.

Thanks JW,
I will.
It needs just a few very minor repairs ( new string in the spoilers), put a new piece of aluminum locater pin in the left wing panel.
Then will put new servos and a reciever in it.
I had a Legionaire once before that I built from a kit
I still have the plans and my buddy Ray Hayes gave me one of his newer Legionaire fuselage pods for doing him a favor.
So I'll eventually scratch build another one.

Ed,

I have one of those pods also... They're beautiful... much better than the original shells... I'll be building a Legionair 132 this summer... It will probabaly be my last one, but I intend to keep it until I take the dirt nap...

Ooops, the fun police have struck guys, seems I have to change the title of this thread as it has (possibly, but probably not) offended someone... it's only been the same title for three years.... I even got an RCG demerit point or something from the mods, but apparently I will be forgiven and cleared in April, so gracious are they.

Something here smells a bit me thinks.

Anyone got any suggestions for another title?

Cheers!

Got my Merlyn plans today from AMA, what a piece of work, it's huge . Beautiful print from stem to stern, thanks Ken for an excellent, detailed drawing. Looking at the low aspect wing and considering the 3014, I think this is going to be a fast plane. Any bash thoughts?

Sean-
I found something in the garage today that just matches those pink skids and polka dots. If you can hula hoop and shag at the same time, we can make some bucks my friend .

Don, it even looks beautiful on paper, let alone in the flesh.

Happy building mate, I'd love to be doing the same.
