Not ignorance Don, it's just that these old dogs have a language all their own.
I'm sure that's what the "newbies" say about us.
I still have a DT somewhere in my old flight box. As old as it is it should be worth a bundle.

I reckon you're right Mr. G. All groups and clicks have their own little acronyms and short terms for their stuffins. I'll bet when you're talking on your ham radio I couldn't tell for diddly what you're talking about .

Lol Don,
Now you guys know what its like for me trying to interpret your North American writing styles, lol! not to dissimilar from us but there are interesting differences. Take 'thumb drive' for instance, didn't know what that was until someone told me it was US for a memory stick.

I've lost a FF model once, it was yonks ago- It did have AM RC gear in it at the time tough, it was obviously troubled radio gear..

Gerald,
If i can put patches back together again then there is hope for all of us!
That,s something we probably wouldn't bother doing for a mouldie, a mouldie might end up to heavy and structurally compromised when repaired from those sorts of breakages. But with the woodies we sure can, thats another advantage they have over the fast glass.

Love the pics here. Everytime I see that big yellow Mega Bird I do a double take and have to look again.

Good mornin sunshine, how you be? I did the same Steve when I saw that stretched out bird again, good Lord, what a span.

Unless I'm mistaken, Journey master is printing 8.5x11" pages and taping them together which works very well. We just need to hack his PC and grab his files . Of course we should wait until it's all tweaked in .

Jack didn't read that........

No work today Don, doing astro stuff, will try for new suspot system 1034 later today if it stays clear. Processed an M42 last night, Orion Nebula, I'm happy with it considering my modest optical gear.

Also tooling up for the scale (close eyes now) ARF glider I bought a while back, what a foolish thing to do...

Since we are off track and talking about Free Flight, anybody want to test your memory and ID this model? We just electrified it and made it RC:

Playboy? I have no idea but I want one!! Never did free flight per say, only early, late 50's semi remote control. There were a lot of free flights with the early RC systems, escapments and vacuum tubes, etc.

That's a great shot Steve. Where are the seven sisters in relation to the Nebula? I always thought it was a cool story about Orion's pursuit of the ladies. I had a 6 week class inside our planetarium at Nimitz High School in Irving that I really enjoyed. I can't remember very much of it now after the years but it interested me for a long time. Star gazing is very cool and very humbling. We're nothing but a speck in this universe and I truly believe that there's no way possible that we're alone.
