L.O.L. I was going to say that I thought it had all worked out well with you not being able to ruin more of the worlds scant balsa supplies for a while.

From what he is going through with the house, surprised he has not taken the fetal position with tears and uncontrollable crying! The added ribbing is likely helping him forget!

That's the picture I have of gree in my mind! Quietly sobbing amongst a carpet of balsa shavings.
I think the saddest thing about this P.47 build is that it started out as a P.51! when hacking that much balsa to death he had'nt noticed that the P.51 plans had fallen off the table leaving the P.47's that were underneath, and knowing so little about aircraft recognision he carried on oblivious! The fact that a lot of the fittings did'nt look right were of no concern. Gree's motto being 'body filler can get you out of so much trouble'.
The story about the troubles with the builders is just a cover up so that he could quietly shove the model in the bin and we'd go away and not bother him anymore with awkward questions.

Thanks for the light hearted support guys. Actually helps a lot. I will finish this thing I guarantee. I have too many others waiting to be built. I guess life is telling me that that the planes will be done when they're done and not before!

Thanks for still hanging around this ghost town that was my build thread

Well it looks like I will have my workshop back by the end of February. I just can't believe this building thing has gone on for nearly a year. On the plus side we are getting a free double door installed from our living room to our balcony, and the door in the sunroom (read workshop) is being replaced with a window. This will really make it a room and not a thoroughfare which will mean I can organise it better. After doing FPV flying when I have the time, I am really looking forward to building again, finishing my '47 and actually starting the build I wanted to do in the first place, a Fw190.

I hope those of you who followed along will return. I really hate it when a build thread just dies and I am determined that this will not be one of those. I just have to hold out a few more weeks!!
