Is the F3J version D-box wing construction? How much ballst will the plane hold?

Yes, this is the carbon d-box wing. The joiner holds two or four brass bars. All four total about 18oz. People are also putting ballast in the fuse and screwing it to the towhook mounting. See this thread for more info. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...=861086&page=3

I had a Victor F3B and all I can say is if the Victor F3J Flys anything like the F3B version this will be one really nice plane. I really can't believe this plane has not been scooped up yet.

OK, new plane is almost here and the Victor needs to sell. $900 obo. If you want better/closeup photos just ask. Really is a nice plane, just not the plane for me.

As far as I know the only difference between the F3B and F3J versions is that horizontal stabs have slightly more area on the F3J. Otherwise, I think they are identical.
