Lithium Ion Charge Circuit
I have built the charger using a LM350 and can get approx 3 amps on 2 cell setup. I know that the max current the LM350 can do is 3 amps. Can something be done to get more current out of this circuit? maybe double or tripple current?
I want to charge large packs 9000mah and would like to charge at 1C AT LEAST.... Anyone?

When you start talking about that kind of serious charge current, the charger circuit usually becomes a little more complicated.....the existing 3 amp circuit can be used to "drive" a high (10, 20 or whatever amps required) output "pass" transistor stage,added to the existing charger combined with really large sink fins.... Typical useful circuits can be found under "high current voltage regulators" searches...... hope this helps...... kw
