L39 and Phase 3 F-16
Ive had my eye on the phase 3 for a while now, but it turned out I got the new electrifly l39 before the phase 3
The L39 flies well on the stock setup, handles the wind pretty well, and rolls very nicely. Loops from a shallow dive. My favorite part about this plane is its basicly done out of the box. I think I spent about 3 hours building it total, and I spent about 45 mins just grindind down the screws I needed to mount the motor (which werent supplied with the kit btw ).
The phase 3 Ive yet to fly, as i just got it done last night. I painted, built, installed and dialed in all the electronics in one night. Started at 4pm and was done by 12:30am. The paint took the longest, followed secondly by the amount of time it took to scrounge thru decals and find a couple good ones for this fella. The tiger decal was purchased from here on rcgroups.
I cant wait until sunday morning, Im gonna have a grip of planes to take out to the field

Absolutely the Phase 3 is a faster plane. IMO, the phase 3 is better all around. It can slow down very very well, speed up nicely on a stock power system and a 3s 2200.
The L39, I flew a bunch but it never became my go-to bird like the F-16 did,

You did a good job on the paint job, what product and technique did you use?
I might get one this weekend.
I like the l-39, look good but lack speed a bit, even if I upgraded the motor for a 4040kv
