Are those stick on LED's easy to take off and re-apply when you want them on?

Any problems with those white lights screwing up your "night vision"?

I need a willing participant to get some of my 42" Slick in a hover. Kirby shot some but not in the hover, was the end of the flight. Giles just stands out in that beautiful sky as does the yellow Vyper but I think my favorite shots are still the Silver Slick.

If you mean the led's, I copied Mr. Basher's plane from the Fly Low In with the exception of the clear strip on the bottom of the fuse. Thanks for the idea Mr. Basher. It's pretty simple to set up with the led tape.

Will add that to the "To-Do" list for Sunday morning dawn patrol. just need to make sure we have some music from The Crystal Method playing in the background.

Not if you use the adhesive backing that comes on them which I did. If you were to leave the backing on or stick paper to it, you could tape them on so you could remove them. I would have done that but at some point, that will probably be a Night Flyer Slick only.

Both flights so far have been almost light enough to fly without them with the first flight being a little darker out. I did have issue with the airplane attitude a couple of times and therefore will most likely add some led strip to the horizontal stab as well. Also planning to extend the clear strip on the bottom which wraps up into the nose. I think that will illuminate the white part of the fuse covering from the inside out. If you stare at the led's when you are carrying the plane to the flight line, you will need to look away for a few seconds to let your eyes acclimate b/c they are very bright. I still want to try a 2s pack and/or castle bec on 9v volts. I guess I could put a 9 volt battery in just the same to simulate the cc bec on 9 volts. And, if I can ever get my rear up even earlier, I'll try to get a flight in with it dark dark.

Thanks for the info.

BTW, what 27% Giles are you refering to? Wouldn't be an Ultra RC Giles by chance would it? I have one and would love to see some good shots of one.
