You need to add the fiberglass x mount option. He lightens the motor and installs the new x mount. Worth every penny extra

Yup lightened... the Glacier 6s 3300mAh is what I used for testing. They are very good batteries and Dale with EP buddy has good CS and stands behind his batts. Unlike HPz

Losi, what was the problem with your 5085's?

Does anyone else use these servos, and are they worth the extra $?

I would like to run them in my next 51 build if they're better than the 85's. Thanks

I just recently switched from 85's to 5085's and I can't really tell much of a difference to be honest.

The 5085s hold better. I got some blowback with the 85mgs. The 5085s are stronger and l no longer get blowback

And this is with an Ice 100 w/no external BEC?
I'm going with MF over Hacker this time but have not decided on the esc. The Talon 90 is $76 from 3DHS, or should I get an Ice 75/100?

Yeah no issues. Any of those esc will work fine. The motor on 4s and a 14x7 prop only pulls 65amps. The bec in any of them will handle these small servos without a sweat.

Interesting, maybe it was just your servo setup. I have the 85mg and am not getting blowback, However I am running the hacker witch is not as powerful as the motrofly.

Can't say if they're worth the extra money or not... That's always subject for debate.

They do center themselves very well compared to analog servos.

You can always see if someone on the forum is selling a set of them in good condition for what you might pay for the analog 85's new.
