Good point!

I'm ordering the Orange 51"!

I'm guessing the small stars are decals, since I've seen pic.'s showing them on there and some without?

Ok, any recommendations for motor, esc and servo's? Hacker, Motrofly, etc?

Should I get the Super Strength servo arms?

I always liked the Hitec HS65's direct mount without using rubber/grommet type mounts.

Do the HS85's work ok with the rubber mounts?

Lastly, I like the ADC Decal kit, but $80 is way too much for decals IMO.

Anything similar for a little less cash?

Anyone know of any coupon codes for free shipping/other for 3DHS?

59" get taken to the field more often, but just because it's easier to take it sometimes.... I usually take a 7X size, a 5X size and my 48" Edge...and on days when I feel really good, I take my 89"...

No, small stars are on the plane and this comes with a decent set of genuine vinyl stickers.

hs-85mg work great, hs-5085 are better, rubber grommets are not needed on an electric plane, but I used them, yes you want a set of the dubro arms.

Motrolfly 3615, get it and don't even think about the price it is worth it., 14x7 xoar prop

Is the Motrolfly more powerful or lighter heavier than the Hacker that is suggested by the manufacturer. I've heard these recommended before for another application.

Just curious.

Am I really gaining anything with the digital servos? I have always had good luck with Hitec servos centering well - analog. Does digital offer a real world - noticeable difference?

the motrofly is noticeably more powerful by all reports. Digital servos are not necessary on this plane but you should be able to tell a difference in precision and speed.

Couldn't find specs on the Motrofly. Is it a heavier motor since it's more powerful.

Would the Hacker X-70-SB-pro ESC work well with that motor?

The castle esc is a smoother esc with more options. I highly recommended. The Motrolfly isn't any heavier after ken at subsonic lightens it and adds the fiberglass x mount. Its way more powerful and doesn't get hot like the hacker. The Motrolfly is a much better motor for the 51.

The 59 slick is a bigger smoother plane built for more precision. Its a great flying plane and fly very big for its size. It just doesn't do violent like the 51 and it doesn't fly as big as the 71. My 71 feels more violent than my 59 did.
My brothers description of the 59 was the best l think. He said the 59 slick fly like a refined 57 extra that hovers like a slick.

Definitely get the Motrolfly 3615-750. You need to get the lightened motor mount also. This eliminated the need to drill the firewall for new mounting holes.

Is the motor itself made lighter or is it simply the Xmount that is lighter?
