I had to do the same when I put on my Motrofly motor but don't worry it will be awesome. I'm just loving this plane but now I'm thinking bigger is better & my extra my have to grow from a 47" to the 57"

One more thing guys. My bolts are VERY close to the motor housing. I can see a visible gap but just barely. Is this OK or should I use a dremel and cut off the end of the bolt a little?

Do not dremmal next to the motor. Shavings will mess it up.

It probably seems like an obvious thing to most people to take the bolts out FIRST but I'm glad you guys appropriately assumed that I'm an idiot and clarified this because I was gonna do just that - dremel the ends off while the motor is still attached.

So THANK YOU! I'll remove them first. If I'm gonna remove them I might just replace them with slightly shorter bolts anyway.

I would not assume you are an idiot.....just perhaps not as experienced as some other folks around here....

Which xoar model prop is the correct one for 3d flying. I had a apc 14x7 and it was nice but put on a xoar pjn beechwood series 14x7 and do not think it flew as well. Is that the proper prop?

It is. Most people prefer wood props over APC, what was it you didn't like about the xoar? You can also run a 15x6 if you are using the motrofly 3615. I used and really liked the xoar 14x7(with a motrofly 3615-750)

The Hacker will run the 15x6 also... it's within the spec. That's what I use exclusively.

Agreed. The Hacker felt horrible with a 14x7 and felt GREAT with the 15x6. I think if you're using the Motrofly then (based on my calculations) you will need to use some throttle management to go up to a 15x6.
