What sort of voltage are your LiPo's holding under load?
So what size prop and ESC?
I'm having my doubts.

14x7 or 15x6 depending on what your preference is. That's with a 3615-750 on 4s right?
14x7 is faster in the air, but a 15x6 provides a bit more thrust to help in hovers and harriers.

I like Mike! Had to go check. Xoar 14X7 Seems like it pulled about 63A settling to High 50's can't remember and the Wattmeter was only recording peak.

I can run it again with my Eagletree, which I need to do. Maybe by the weekend.

Ok thanks....I'll have to upgrade to a bigger ESC.
I'm gonna go with maybe the Ice 75 or the ZTW 85 with an APC 14x7 for now.
Later I will get a Xoar.

Finally had the breakthrough in torque rolls that I was waiting for. I couldn't understand why you guys used no aileron to get your planes torque rolling and I had to put aileron in to get my plane going. I finally realized that I was keeping a little rudder in which was preventing the torque roll. So, I got my left thumb out of the way and well they aren't perfect but at least I'm doing them now. FINALLY!!

It was a good night.

As for ESC's, I'm using the ZTW 85A and have been happy with it so far.

Nice!! Always a good feeling when you finally figure something out. Before long you'll be torque rolling with ease!

I still struggle with TR, I think I'm too touchy with the elevator and my depth perception is not so good so I'm always over correcting when belly in. But I'm getting closer

Yes it is a good feeling, wish I would've noticed this a month or two ago. Oh, did I say I love this plane!

I've had good results from the ZTW 85A, hard to beat at the price and lightweight. If you need the added features (eg. adjustable BEC voltage and logging) then the Castle Ice is also excellent.. The ZTW does give slightly more power to the motor in my experience.

+1! I think 2500's and 2650's are kinda the sweet spot for this plane. I fly mine pretty hard and get a full 6 minutes of flying and they are coming down around 3.8v.
