CY26 (Sikk) or Zen 26 ?
Hi Guys.
Which engine should i buy ?  On paper, the specs for the CY are much better then the stock Zenoah, but is it realy better ? Chung Yang CY26 4+ HP Watercooled Engine Zenoah G260PUM 3.25 HP Marine Engine |

I use The Zenoah, alot of after-market parts availabe. Here is a link to Enforcer boats, on his website Tony explains the differences of the engines.

you should buy a zenoah 260 engine to save your time and money, a stock 260 would make 4 HP at 15000 RPM with the 2" band pipe.

I just finished up a Sikk powered mono and it's ready to hit the water next week. I picked up one used that was modded by Bob Finn so I'm anxious to see how it does.
The Sikk's are faster engines out of the box stock but from what I've seen on other forum sites there can be a reliability issue with modded ones. I guess that I'm going to find out myself. The boat was far from finished here. |

Looks good.
As you probably saw on RCU, i ended up with a stock Zen from bonzi. Still need alot of hardware, before I can put things together

I love that hull, that baby is sweet! Come on and get it done.
Hopefully I'll have a video of mine running by the middle of this coming week. I've got nothing against Zen's, I just got a great deal on this Sikk, too good to pass up. |
