My first FPV flight, 45mph winds and I crashed into a tree, why is video crappyKX-191

Flying at Corona airport in Ca
I have a KX-191 wih the 1.3ghz 300mw from Range Video.
the picture looks horrible, a lot better before uploading it to YouTube but still pretty crappy and it was getting static and the plane was never more than a few hundred feet from me.
I thought this KX-191 camera was supposed to take awesome video.
the wind was blowing so much it just pushed the plane into the tree, was a nightmare getting it down. Had to climb 15ft up and then use a 25ft pole to knock it out. Only had minor damage nosediving 40ft into the grass

Here's the YouTube link, I don't know how to post a video here

Here's the first easystar that went from new to garbage in 15 seconds, too much power

freaked out and didn't chop the throttle, the motor has so much power that at full throttle and use rudder input, it's totally twists. totally fun though.

jasper7821 , i have two questions for you.
1.as much as i know ,KX191 should be a good cam but may not give as much "warm color" as kx131, but it depends on what you use to record it, a mp4 recorder on even a laptop are not perfect and may trash your video, you may have a DVR for the recording.
2. your second crash is weird , did you add any stabilizer or gyro to your plane? or simply the crash might be simply caused by a jammed aileron servo

I'm recording onto a Aiptek MPVR+CB and it records onto a SD card, maybe I should try a regular video camera.
My easystar was all stock (no mds) I think it crashed because it has too much power. With the second plane when I fly and give it full throttle and full rudder it twists really quick. I got the hang of it now.
The whole plane weights 975 grams and still only needs less than 1/4 throttle to take off.

That first video is funny.

Did you break the camera on the second crash?

Camera is fine, just need to wait for wind to die down to try it again.
The funnier video that I got was deleted accidently, is my hand getting chopped up by the Easystar prop. I was holding it by the top of the fuse and my leg rubbed on the throttle and gave a little throttle and grinded my hand up pretty good.

Ouch, sorry to hear that, I hope you still have all your fingers.

Are you using goggles to FPV, and do you have pan and tilt?

Do you have a picture of your setup and where everything is placed? Maybe you are getting interference from one of your devices. Are you powering it separately?

I'm trying to get the video email back to me, totally funny video.
I'm using goggles and don't have a headtracker.
I have my pan servo on the rudder and did the 180 HS-81 mod and the tilt on a 3 position switch on my Futaba 7C
I have a bunch of other cool videos on YouTube also, just search jasper7821
Lots with my gas Raptor F-22 and P-51 Mustang

How did you mount the KX191?
I plan on getting that camera also and modding a pandora box to fit it.

I just glued the pan servo to a piece of plexiglass and then screwed the camera mount to the servo horn for panning, and doudle side taped the tilt servo to the camera and screwed it to the mount to get tilt. doesn't look the greatest but it was free and only took 5 minutes to make the setup. will post pictures tomorrow.
