Help!
Name that Sailplane

Hey folks... I'm the in the process of selling off some goodies in the hangar and came across this F3B ship. I can't for the life of me remember what she's called... Any ideas? Probably from about 15 years back. 118" Span.

Thanks!

Blayne

Possibly an Azart-T. Don't know the actual manufacturer, but a quick Google search turned up pictures on the Top-Model site that look like it may be a match...

It does look very similar... Has this model been out this long??? I've had this since '92, '93 at least.

Also... the Azart-T is "slicker" on the top model site... More RTF... This one is all moulded but requires a bit of building.

Pretty sure it's not a Comet as I think the comet had plugin wings.

Hans Mueller did make a molded airplane at about that time. I can't remember the name and know of only one in the US. Not many were made, Manny Tau may have had the one?

Muller... Could be. Just emailed him.

For those that are interested... I've just put her up (amongst others) for sale:

Taking me back in time Manny Tau had a Comet 89T. That model was pressed veneer skins over white foam and composite spars. Hans Mueller is an amazing craftsman.

Don Edberg flew a hybrid Comet fuselage with F3B Eagle wings that looked similar, but was a different model.

Dennis may have it right.

Aaron, didn't we all have 89T's!
I had an 88Special, 89T's and a 91T.
