This guy is an AWESOME technician on scratch builds. I wish I could make more time for myself to build like this! I'm starting on his A-6 soon as I have everything but time right now.

Sure wish there was a page for nothing but full fuse plans.

Profiles are nice, but truthfully they are pretty easy to design and build! It would be nice to have a separate section for full fuse. This would make it easier to browse through for both the profile guys, and the full fuse guys!

YES, I agree. Need plans for FULL SIZE BODY, or whatever we call them.
I have built 10 profile. What I do not like is EVERYTHING HANGING ON THE OUTSIDE.
Hard to find plans for full body. Elect. also would like for our Kansas winds
45 to 55 in wings.

I can't explain WHY, but I've always felt that the profile wasn't a real thing... while a full fuse is the stuff.

Radio controlled D H Vampire on 6x4 prop (2 min 58 sec)

Just cut out an extra fuse and space out to allow room for your choice of lipo pack, esc & rx. If you are making a scale style model then goggle 3 view drawings to see what shape the fuse should be from above. Here is the result for the Vampire https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=DH...w=1280&bih=677

Modifications to the Harpy Cat

While searching for something different to create, I came across the Harpy Cat build thread. I liked the futuristic look of the plane, its lines and flight characteristics.

It inspired me to modify the design a bit to create a Space Fighter. When you hit the COG just right the Harpy Cat will float to the ground, like a leaf, falling nearly straight down as you'll see in the video.

It's a fun plane to make and to fly. I also include some discussion on painting and finishing techniques.
