Hello again,
If you like strange looking planes, you will like this one too I hope. Is a modell that I built some time ago, and I was amazed on how good it can fly. I started from this : http://www.modelbouw-hans.nl/modellen%20nieuw.htm http://www.modelbouw-hans.nl/Mijn%20...nt/Descent.htm I doubled the size and ended up with this plan (corel draw format): descent Some pictures from the building phase: Finnaly ready to go : And a video with the second filght :
It was a nice plane, after two months of fun, I broked the propeller at take-off and had a nice crash... I never rebuilt it, but for sure I will one day. It was a mean peace of foam on the sky. Top speed I reached with this (put my XDA with GPS in the plane for a run) was 160Km/h, diving at 45degree with full engine. That is something for a foamie

Photon's PARK BIPE Mods
Quote:
1) KFm2 on top wing. 2) Added ailerons to the top wing. 3) KFm1 on bottom wing. 4) Bottom wing is a duplicate of the top wing with rounded front corners. 5) Rounded front corners to the horizontal stabilizer. 6) Added an inch and rounded the top of the vertical stabilizer. 7) Raised the back section of the fuse and added a 1 liter Sprite bottle cutout as a canopy. 8) Used a "shock absorbing" LG originally designed by Dalton (DaDesign's Elipso Aero) using rubber bands on wooden dowels. 9) Single aileron servo mounted underneath the bottom wing. 10) The "Yippee" decal was designed by bullseye000 for Lee's (Yarsmythejr) Funder & Lightning. I will maiden her tomorrow or next weekend...weather permitting. Thanks Photon (if you're still around RCG)! Your design lives on!!! ![]() Steve |

Lovely descent you put toghether. Looks great !
Mine never got the finnishing details unfortunately. It fllies don't worry... I was very impressed how maneuverable it is. I enjoyd flying so much that I spent time flying not building ![]() Here is the first flight (Here you can hear the sound of it too. It had an AXI 2820/8 engine with a Jeti Advanced 70A controller) :

Here's mine that I fly a few times a week. I saw something similar which
I started with and then tweaked it to hell. This is the current plane I ended up with. I just built another. If anyone is interested in the plans I made them in excel and would be happy to share. This thing turns on a dime, very fun.
