Sold
14-turn MD Wire dLRK Hexkit "Blue Wonder" 24-gram Outrunner $23 Shipped

Very strong and efficient with a GWS 8040 HD & 3S battery, but hush quiet and smooth. Hand wound dLRK version of the "Blue Wonder" available from United Hobbies using 14 turns of 25awg MicroDan wire in Wye termination -- better in every way than the stock build.

Kv measured 1308 @ 8 volts. With an 8040 GWS HD & Hex 460 3S battery it cranked out 18.9 ounces of thrust using 8 amps @ 10.9 volts. That's 10242 rpm and just shy of 79% efficiency on the Badcock scale. Total weight is 24 grams without the nifty motor mount (included).

Tested and briefly test flown only: essentially new. I was trying to best my previous "miracle" 24-turn Delta version and almost did: efficiency is only a small fraction less. However, the 24-turn is nearly impossible to duplicate and this is a pretty easy wind. So I'm going with the oldie. (Actually this motor managed the highest-ever efficiency on one of these -- 79.5% -- but at a lower power level using a weaker battery. At the same thrust level the 24-turn barely edged it out).

$23 takes it. Free shipping is via USPS First Class Mail in the USA. Paypal only, and NO ECHECKS please. PM for paypal address.

If your offer is accepted, you have 24 hours from the pm of paypal address to pay or the item will be relisted.

CANADA: If you're in Canada and Real Nice (but who there isn't?) I might also ship under compelling circumstances, but it does require filling out forms and waiting in line and stuff like that (which I Do Not Like) and does cost a bit more. On the other hand I love Canada, so quite often sentiment wins out over good sense.

After the tropical sonata I went out flying and had a good time. The clean neat winds are a plus too!

Just might. It's actually an easy one. But hobbycitykingunited has raised the price on these motors, the bums! And that wire ain't cheap.

Wish I could get some 27awg in the same stuff -- but then i'd probably try another 24-turn which is holy hammered hades on the fingies.

Be interested to hear back about this one. It's just about perfect.
