RTF Zagis in Dallas area hobby shop

For you people that are too busy to even tape together a Zagi (and happen to live in North Texas):

I was over at Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrolton the other day. He has a local builder doing Zagis for his shop.

With the little three channel Hitec FM, the built Zagi 400X was selling for 299.95. They looked to be very well done and neater than average.

I'm still getting over the shock and shame of taping together my first airframe (NOT a Zagi).....I may have to to it again!

If you really want a deal, go to Roys Toys for Big Boys in Hurst, TX. There you will find a Zagi 400 for $103 and the X for $106!!

I bought my Zagi x from Mike 2 weeks ago. I wanted my own scheme so they built one for me ALL white. I then added my own trim. So if you want it built but want to add the finishing touches he will do it for ya. Mike built it himself and did a great job. Still only $299.95. PS I would not have bought it if they did not take one out in thier parking lot and fly it for me. An impressive feat if you have ever seen the parking lot.

I saw them at the southwest model show. They build a good Zagi. Crazy pilots; but good builders.

I go to Roy's Hobby Shop all the time, newflyer, but those Zagis are not BUILT at that price (It is a good kit price). Mike has a guy building them to order.

Mike being a busy guy, I predict the one he said he built was built by Tony White, the builder...

I'm still resisting the Zagi urge....but I'm showing signs of weakening...;-)

newflyer, are you down in Crowley proper? I'm not far away from you, here in far south Fort Worth. I do some e-flying right next to Crowley Middle School on Risinger Rd, a couple of blocks away from here.

Yes, I'm in Crowley "proper" I live in Deer Creek Estates, about 1.2 miles past the McDonalds on the corner of main and 1187. I usually fly right off my driveway, as their still building here. there isw also a large field area and a 6 acre lake, which, besides fishing, I fly my Aqua Star (currently being glassed) off of. Are you talking about HF Stevens Middle School on Crowley Rd??

Nope..the other Crowley Middle School. Go due west to McCart...south to Risinger Road...west to CMS. I'm not far from the new North Crowley High School near Hulen Road and Risinger.

A 400x for 106? I've got to check this place out. I live in Flower Mound but will make the drive. I paid $129 for my 400x kit about 2 weeks ago. How do I get there from say 820 north?
Thanks in advance
