The Mentor will fly on quite a wide range of motors and that Rimfire looks fine. Its max constant current is 45A, very similar to the recommended motor, and I see no reason why it shouldn't give a similar flying performance to the recommended Himax motor. I reckon you should try it, and if you don't like it you can always buy another motor, they're easy to access and change on the Mentor. Don't worry that your motor will make the plane hard to fly, it won't, the Mentor flies really nicely on very little power or a lot of power (I fitted a more powerful motor than the recommended one [a 60A 1200] but I never use full power so a powerful motor is not necessary.)
