Harrier Test flight in sight !!!

The first pic's of the Harrier waiting for the wind to blow at our local slope for the test flight 24 years after l flew the first one l built
Model is built from plans from Rm Green in the UK balsa fuz and tail feathers with balsa covered foam core wings covering is a mix of heavy & light weight tissue and dope then sprayed with plasticote enamels flying weight is 2 1/4 lb

I look forward to seeing a vid of this one in flight. With a dcent blow you could even hover, just like the real thing!

We used to do that in the 80's with all 3 of them sat still side by side at Mamtor

Very nice.

I too, await the video. I have the RM Green plans, but intended modifying it into an AV-8B with only a slightly stretched wing. Am I dreaming to even hope it would stand a chance of flying?

Probably dreaming but I'd love to see you pull it off, it would look great. I 'saw' (via telemetry) a real one glide once. Not pretty.

l know the model as it is flys great you'll have to post some pic's of the mods if you get around to it !
The wind looks like l might get a chance to fly it tomorow as long as the snow stays away the vid will be here soon !!
