The SEFF online registration will end on Sunday April 13th. We also will be removing the mail in registration form on the 7th.

We plan to put the pilot packages together the following weekend so we need all the mail in registrations received by Saturday April 19th.

Wow, glad you posted this! We still haven't gotten our pre-registration in (have to sign up for AMA memberships first). Hope the AMA stuff processes in time! Planning to submit all the AMA stuff today.

You don't have to be signed up with the AMA first to pre register. As long as you can show proof of membership at the event...you are ok.

If you don't get your card in time...they can fax you confirmation of membership.

Hey Jeff. Thanks for that info. We bought the intro memberships today, and it gives you a receipt to print out that is valid for one month (so through 5/8/2009) as a temporary confirmation of membership.

On Atlanta Hobby's ordering page, it says: "Also, you must place the pilot's name, AMA Membership Number and Expiration Year in the text boxes above in order for the registration to be valid. All SEFF pilots must be current members of the AMA. If you have any questions about these requirements, please give us a call before ordering. "

Should I write something else in the AMA box to let them know I'm waiting on my card? I didn't ordering yet since I don't have my number, but I didn't know if it would even let me add it to the cart without putting something in both fields.

Please just write in that it is applied for. That should be fine. I do the pilot check in at the field and we'll check your AMA there.
