Berkut

Progress as at 01 Apr 08
Last weekend quite slow, due working.

Achieved:
Paneled gear/fan/intake sections. Now panelled from B1 to fan rear. Fwd fuse stiff as a board!
Fan mounted properly; B8 cut out.
Wing and canard cut out.
All bulkheads installed on stb side.

To come:
Panel 4 rear sections
Build intake / exhaust cones
Cut out intake/exhaust from bulkheads

Random thoughts:
Intake: 3/4-3mm-3/4? Blue foam plug, slice'n'reglue?
Power upgrade path. 7s and new escs, or new fans?

Pics attached.

Yup, they'll be mixed for pitch. I'm tossing up a few ideas as to how, i.e. use them for vortex control or as a lifting control surface, but that'll come out in the flight testing. My pusher berkut used to use them as a lifting surface, and it flew quite well (torque roll excluded)
