No. the very first 4#3 FM versions had sealed cans. the newer models had the motors with the whole in the can.

It turned out that the tail blade was not tight enough to the motor shaft.
I put a drop of CA, and now it works ok again, it has just too little responsiveness.

It seemed to work better with the Micron tail rotor blade, but was alot more noisy. Probably the higher speed on the tail rotor?

Guess i need to go for the geared setup to make it quicker.

Thanks!

Tony,
In One Word No. Sorry that's how mario does it to keep weight down.

More MIA Canopy Creative Ideas for the 4#3s

I was playing with some canopy ideas and came up with the following. More canopy ideas will be posted, as time permits.

Took a MIA Canopy and trimmed as shown in the picture the tail blade was manufactured from the left over pieces of the canopy. Something you can do on a rainy day if you want to experiment a little. The rest of the MIA upgrades are now standard on all my 4#3's. This is about all the time I have had so far since getting really busy with orders. I wanted to post something in this thread to show I am still alive. I want to fly this heli, again but don't think I will have time for another week or so. Still trying to catch up with some work in the schedule. Thanks again all, for contributing to this thread and great pics and videos !

Hi.
Is it safe several 2.4 GHz to fly in the same area?
Is the same technology with expensive systems, so no interference problems will occur?

jdog,
Me thinks I heard the name "spinmaster" used in conjunction with AH parts.

Updated Walkera 4#3 for clearview, and FMS

here is an updated 4#3 model for clearview. It is a bit easier to control than the original from way back.

here is one for FMS, there are a couple .par files with different characteristics to choose from.

Hey Guys! These forums are the greatest source of info. Just purchased a 5G6 used and am really looking forward to trying it out. Sure do hope to have better luck with the 5G6 than I did with my Wasp V3 4Ch.

Was wondering, I saw this 5G6 Advanced Battery Pack and was wondering if this is a good deal or if there is anywhere to buy just the charging cable or if there is a diagram so I could try to build my own. I'd love to be able to use my B-6 clone charger.

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
Just asked this guy if he would sell only cable...await his reply. Someone may help out I would like to use my Bantum BC6 as well but have difficulty sourcing losi battery connector in Aus. + not sure on wiring.
Maybe someone can post links

There is a 5G6 thread in the multi rotor section for better help on heli issues when you get it.
