i doubt it you can get a UBI with a 64 square inch wing area (close to twice Cessna, while keeping about the same weight) but knock yourself out

ps Jake, have you always had a Wild Bill Kelso avi, or am i just that unobservant?

Hi Folks...

Please be warned.... The charger allows you to insert the battery either side "up", and it CAN be forced into it's connector the wrong way.

I got mine yesterday at Rob's Hobbies, in Garden Grove California.

I just bought three embers from my LHS. I guess they only come in one color. I opened mine and flew it in my basement. It needed no trimming or anything. I was able to do 17 figure 8s before I started day dreaming and crashed. I think I could do figure 8s for the whole battery and never land or crash. It flies very similar to my modified cessna. We will be dogfighting tonight with competely stock planes, except a thin, five foot long streamer. A dream come true.

I just couldn't leave it alone. I only flew it about 10 minutes and I started making it lighter. Mine weighed 19.79 grams and now I just flew it at 17.1 grams. I think it would fly on the lowest throttle setting if it were going straight. I have to turn all the time in my basement so it took about 1/4 throttle to keep it flying. I removed the wing stickers, landing gear, battery mount, velcro from the battery, and vertical stab stickers. Why did I do that? Just for a little more performance. I can't help it. I took the spare tire, jack and back seat out of my daily driver (subaru STI )

isn't it strange to look at a 19-gram plane and think, "that's too darn heavy"?

i can relate

what's so great about this plane?

looks just like all the other skimpy, stick body planes with rectangle wings.

yawn.

This is the first plane I have seen that is able to do figure 8s in a basement with no modifications. It has three proportional channels and servos, not actuators. It cost less than $140. That is why it is geat plane.
