Gentlemen, I think you are correct. When viewed from the rear, the thrust line pushes up and to the left, the up vector from rear of the Cof G compensates for the pitch down resultant of the high mounted motor. The left alignment compensates for the torgue reaction, I guess. It flew better this way, unless of course I had my rudder reversed without realising??? Thanks for your considered opinion, backwards eh...could be an improvement on my normal flying. Cheers lads, Al

Really nice work !
Love this small size aeroplanes, so handy . I have biuld one of thees Walrus , in 3 mm Derpon . wight is 255 gram and i have make airleons for the safeside It hav just been air and seaborn, the first trial did not end so well.... But the second trial put her up into the skye , Yipee! The videos is on the Tube
I have to learn me how to put in pictures here... have some problems See you.. |

Yes I will try again in calm vind, this time it was around 4m/s and rise. She will stear by the rudder most and I was more to fiddeling with the airleons , hmmm.Hmm, trial and error... what can happens... Test for som pictures on the Walrus.. I hope they can bee seen now?? Must go back to work... |

Yes, the language is nearly the same in such situations The weather was better for a day and we try to do some more movies. It's my first waterplane and to start and rise from water is not so easy , Practice is the thing...
And so att last , before my cameraman go to strike a small movie into the sky.
Hope you enjoy. Tips, on Youtube you can choice "High qualite" fore better pictures. In low qualite is rather bad. (start to build a small Drake II , but I think it will be ice before I'm finish )
