and other issues ....i would like to catch it now and not later

i've charged every thing i have in the house including camera lion and cell phone batteries lol its fun to play.

overall what a great charger vary happy !

IMO if you are happy with how any charger is working then do not upgrade unless the Mfr recommends the upgrade for safety reasons.

My advice (give it little or no weight if you wish): don't tempt fate-leave the firmware "as is" and DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TRYING TO INDUCE THE CONNECTION BREAKDOWN ERROR, you'll have it soon enough.

BTW - It looks like you are powering the X10 via the optional DC jack input. You should be aware that input is limited to 7A so the maximum output charging power is very limited, about 75W if you are using a 12V/7A supply.

i use the laptop plug for small pack charges , i also have a 13.8 v 25 amp power supply......i will just leave the good alone then for now

The 1010 is a 300W 10A 10S charger (thats why its called 1010).

i.e. its max cell count is 10S, its max amp is 10A and its max watt is 300W.

so if you charge 3S pack you can go as high as 10A, even though it is well under 300W (12.6*10=126W).
BUT if you charge a 8S pack you will only be able to charge at ~9A becuase the Watt limit of 300W (300W/33.6-~9).
for 10S you will be able to charge @~7A (300/42).

BTW: 106 is 10A 6S 250W, 206 20A 6S 300W, 208 20A 8S 350W

Guyz with connection breakdown, did you try to downgrade your firmware?

I NEVER modified my 208b's firmware (never flashed it): one day, it just started.

In my opinion this is only going to lead to confusion.

One poster has a new Neu charger ,it is not the official iCharger one. It may be made by same manufacturer but it may or may not be exactly the same including the firmware.

Another poster is aking about connection break errors and no one know which charger he is refering to or if he had either cjharger or has had any issues.


What if I posted my charger died?


I suggest keeping iChager comments in this iCharger thread and limit comments Neu chargers elsewhere .


Personally I hate chargers being name the same / similar . The iCharger 1010?

anyone using these chargers with Hyperion / Flight power / Kokam Lipo's

how does it work with the balance port as the charger seems to have only one type ... especially on the 206B which has no balance board, just a few ports/sockets in the side for balance plugs.. how do we use this for all the different cel types?

are there other balance boards available?

Sure,I use them will all types of lipos on a regular basis. Balance boards for the many options (JST-XH, PolyQuest, ThunderPower, Kokam) are available here:

David sells and I use adapter/balance boards for every "plug" on the market.

can they used with the 106B / 206B chargers?

also they are only up to 6s balance, whereas 208 is an 8s charger...

The boards are up to 10S and the same ones are used for all 6S, 8S, and 10S chargers, although the max. number of cells in series that can be used is limited by the model of charger.

106B+/206B = 6S
208B = 8S
1010B+ = 10S
